भारत पेट्रोलियम कॉर्पोरेशन लिमिटेड (BPCL) ने संजय खन्ना को Chairman और Managing Director (CMD) नियुक्त किया है। इस appointment को Appointments Committee of the Cabinet ने approve किया है। वे 31 मई 2029 तक इस पद पर रहेंगे। संजय खन्ना के पास refinery operations और technical services में 30+ साल का experience है। इससे पहले वे Director (Refineries) और interim CMD के रूप में काम कर रहे थे और अब उन्होंने officially यह role संभाल लिया है। उनकी appointment इसलिए important है क्योंकि इससे company में leadership continuity बनी रहेगी। साथ ही, यह ऐसे समय में हुआ है जब BPCL अपने investment और expansion plans पर focus कर रही है। उनके leadership में company petrochemicals और refining efficiency को और मजबूत करेगी। वे मई 2029 तक अपने tenure के दौरान इस position पर बने रहेंगे
